The Israeli National Soccer Team will make its first New York appearance in over 35 years when they play Honduras at Citi Filed this spring. Featuring several English Premier League players on each roster, the match-up will take place on Sunday, June 2 at 5:30 P.M. This monumental event will strengthen the ties between the Jewish and the Israeli communities in New York and show their unwavering support of Israel through one of its greatest passions – Soccer.

She’at Sipur Hebrew Story-time: Tuesday afternoons 4pm

WHAT:
She’at Sipur is an immersive Hebrew experience. Each session will include two picture books stories read and presented to the children by Master Teacher and native Israeli, Nir Na’aman. Each session will also include Israeli children’s music and other activities for young children.
WHEN:
Tuesday afternoons 4pm – 4:45pm starting March 12
Our first series is 6 sessions. You can sign up for all or drop in when you are available.
WHERE:
Kane Street Synagogue, 2nd floor classroom
WHO:
This program is ideal for families with one or two Israeli parents who want to raise Hebrew-speaking children
and for English-speaking families who are game to try an immersion experience to expose their children to Hebrew
at an age when they will soak it up like a sponge.
COST:
$90 per family for synagogue members for 6 sessions
$120 per family for non-members for 6 sessions
$20 per session drop-in fee
