A Festival Celebrating the Hebrew Language
Join us at a wide range of events celebrating Hebrew — the vibrant language of Israel
expressed in its literature, movies, songs and more. Celebrate this old and new language that spans the ancient language of the Bible and the vernacular of modern Israel.
February 7th at Basis Independent Brooklyn located at 556 Columbia Street, Brooklyn from 11 am – 1 pm
Sprout Brooklyn, a Young Judaea Day Camp, is a place where children join together to create a diverse, joyful Jewish community based on values, friendship, tikkun olam (repairing the world), and a sense of peoplehood. Sprout Brooklyn provides campers with a deeper connection to Israel, to the community and to themselves.
Sprout Brooklyn is proud to offer Brooklyn’s premier Dual Language Day Camp. Campers will spend half of each day immersed in the Hebrew language while they enjoy activities such as instructional swimming, cooking and sports. Each group will have at least one fluent Hebrew-speaking counselor.
Bus Transportation is provided each day from different stops in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
